Delete your account.
Permanently, on your terms.

You can erase your General Science account and everything tied to it at any time — no reason required, no retention period to wait out. Here's exactly how, and exactly what goes with it.

Effective 9 Sept 2026 Applies to the General Science Android app (com.levels.generalscience).
The short version
  • Delete it yourself in-app: Profile → Account → Delete Account. Takes under a minute.
  • Deletion is immediate and irreversible — there's no 30-day grace period, no undo.
  • It removes your profile, login, progress, reflections, AI tutor history, and reports — all of it, not just the app icon on your home screen.
  • Lost access to the app or your password? Email us and we'll delete it for you.
§ 01

Delete it yourself, in the app

  1. Open General Science and go to Profile.

  2. Tap Account, then Delete Account.

  3. Enter your password to confirm it's you.

  4. Confirm the final warning dialog. Your account is deleted immediately.

You'll be signed out to the welcome screen, since a deleted account has nothing left to sign back into.

What gets deleted

Deleting your account permanently removes:

DataDetail
Profile & loginYour name, email, avatar, and password — the account itself.
Learning progressStreaks, badges, mastery percentages, and flashcard/quiz history.
ReflectionsEvery reflection you've written.
AI tutor historyYour full chat history with the AI tutor.
Reports & challengesProblem reports you've filed and daily challenge history.
This can't be undone

Deletion happens on our servers the moment you confirm it — we can't restore an account after the fact, so make sure before you continue. See the full policy in our Privacy Policy §08.

§ 03

Can't get to the app?

If you've lost your password, uninstalled the app, or otherwise can't sign in, email us from the address on your account and we'll delete it on your behalf — no need to reinstall anything.

We verify the request came from your account's registered email before deleting anything, and complete it within 30 days.
