Delete it yourself, in the app
Open General Science and go to Profile.
Tap Account, then Delete Account.
Enter your password to confirm it's you.
Confirm the final warning dialog. Your account is deleted immediately.
You'll be signed out to the welcome screen, since a deleted account has nothing left to sign back into.
What gets deleted
Deleting your account permanently removes:
| Data | Detail |
|---|---|
| Profile & login | Your name, email, avatar, and password — the account itself. |
| Learning progress | Streaks, badges, mastery percentages, and flashcard/quiz history. |
| Reflections | Every reflection you've written. |
| AI tutor history | Your full chat history with the AI tutor. |
| Reports & challenges | Problem reports you've filed and daily challenge history. |
Deletion happens on our servers the moment you confirm it — we can't restore an account after the fact, so make sure before you continue. See the full policy in our Privacy Policy §08.
Can't get to the app?
If you've lost your password, uninstalled the app, or otherwise can't sign in, email us from the address on your account and we'll delete it on your behalf — no need to reinstall anything.
We verify the request came from your account's registered email before deleting anything, and complete it within 30 days.
